I have contributed significantly to the discourse on AI and health tech through my active participation in thought leadership events, including:
- Generative AI in Research: Distinguished Speaker at the American University, Ann Ferren Conference, emphasizing the transformative impact of AI in academia.
- Higher Education Advocacy: Presented at the American Society on Engineering Education Minority Mentoring Program.
- Transforming Trajectories in Tech: Disseminated recommendations impacting women of color in technology fields and assisted in the formation of an Action Collaborative.
- Policy Influence in Science and Tech: Participated in several panels, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Brookings Institute, discussing the future of AI policy and the role of Black women in shaping the tech landscape.
- Health Data and Innovation Events: Keynoted at the AIM-AHEAD Conference, addressing AI’s role in promoting health innovation, and selected for best oral presentation at the Big Data Health Science Conference.
- Innovation Engagement: Examination of entrepreneurship opportunities in the tech ecosystem to inform research practice.
